“RAWSON EN EL BICENTENARIO”

Se invita a todos los ceramistas, argentinos y extranjeros, a enviar una Placa Cerámica, en carácter de donación, para participar en la realización del Mural Cerámico Colectivo “Rawson en el Bicentenario”, con motivo de celebrarse el año próximo, 2010, en nuestro país, el Bicentenario de la Revolución de Mayo, ocurrida el 25 de Mayo de 1810, fecha en la que se instauró nuestro Primer Gobierno Patrio, inicio de la posterior Independencia declarada en 1816.
Esta es una iniciativa del Taller Municipal de Cerámica, a través de sus docentes Bibiana Iralde y Sonja Vitulić, quienes agradecen a la ceramista Cristina del Castillo de la ciudad de Paso de los Libres, provincia de Corrientes, autora del proyecto “Placas de Artistas I, II y III” (ver: http://www.placasdeartistas.com.ar/ ) y también a los “Artistas del Proyecto Mural de Hanoi”, capital de Vietnam (ver: http://www.hanoimural.vn/ ), ya que contamos con su apoyo y aliento en la concreción y difusión de nuestra iniciativa, uniendo fraternalmente nuestro arte con motivo de la celebración de los 1000 años de la ciudad de Hanoi, también en 2010.
Se ha creado el blog: http://ceramicaenrawson.blogspot.com/ donde se pueden consultar las Bases de esta convocatoria y demás novedades. Este blog se irá actualizando y completando continuamente para difundir las actividades del Taller Municipal de Cerámica de Rawson, pcia. del Chubut.
El Mural del Bicentenario se emplazará en uno o varios espacios y Edificios Públicos de nuestra ciudad. Esto se definirá próximamente con las Secretarías de Cultura y las de Planeamiento y Urbanismo Municipales y Provinciales.
Agradecemos desde ya a quienes difundan esta información.
Esperamos concretar para el 25 de Mayo de 2010 una obra que plasme no sólo el Bicentenario de nuestra Fiesta Patria, sino también que refleje los deseos de Paz y Fraternidad entre todos los Pueblos del Mundo, gracias al lenguaje universal del arte.
BASES:
*) Cada participante enviará una (1) placa cerámica que se encuadre en las siguientes medidas:
Mínimo: 20 x 20 cm. (8 x 8 pulg.)
Máximo: 40 x 40 cm. ( 16 x 16 pulg.)
Espesor: que no sobrepase los 4 cm.
*) Por favor, NO incluir relieves excesivos o delicados para evitar daños y futuros deterioros. También les pedimos dejar el REVERSO TEXTURADO, para optimizar la colocación.
*) La técnica será libre, utilizando exclusivamente proceso cerámico. Se recomienda utilizar materiales y temperaturas aptos para resistir el exterior.
*) El tema puede ser alusivo a la fecha celebra la Argentina: 25 de Mayo de 1810, fecha en la que se instaura nuestro Primer Gobierno Patrio, uno de los primeros gritos de Libertad que iniciaría el camino hacia la Independencia de los Pueblos Latinoamericanos. Pero también deseamos acompañar los festejos del Bicentenario con expresiones de Libertad, Paz, Fraternidad y Amistad entre todos los pueblos, donde todos reflejemos nuestros deseos de un mundo mejor, sin distinciones políticas, raciales, religiosas o de género, donde las barreras idiomáticas no impiden hermanarnos porque nos une el lenguaje universal del Arte.
*) Por favor colocar en el frente del mosaico en bajo relieve, si es posible, en forma nítida, el nombre y apellido del autor y la ciudad y país de origen; si fuera posible también el título de la obra.
*) Las Instituciones, Empresas, Asociaciones, etc. que quieran estar presentes en el Mural “RAWSON EN EL BICENTENARIO”, podrán encargar su placa en el Taller Municipal de Cerámica a cambio de materiales, insumos o servicios para nuestro Taller.
*) No hay costos de inscripción. El envío será por cuenta de los autores. Los organizadores no reconocerán gastos de envío o flete.
*) Adjuntar al envío la Ficha de participación con los datos completos; quien lo desee puede incluir un CD con una foto digital de su placa y su retrato para que podamos registrarlo en el Blog.

All artists who work with ceramics, are invited to send a Ceramics plate (tile, mosaic) as a contribution, to participate in the Popular Ceramics Mural “ Rawson in the Bicentennial”, to be celebrated next year, 2010, in our country. The Revolution on the 25th May 1810, when the first Patriotic Government was installed, was the starting point for the following Independence, declared in 1816.
This is a project of the Rawson City Hall Ceramics Studio, through its teachers and artists Bibiana Iralde and Sonja Vitulic, who thank the artist Cristina del Castillo from Paso de los Libres, Corrientes province, author of the project “ Artists Plates I,II and III “ ( see: http://www.placasdeartistas.com.ar/). They also want to thank the Artists of the Hanoi Mural Project, in Vietnam (see: http://www.hanoimural.vn/), for their support and in the diffusion of our initiative, and fraternally joining our two projects in the celebration of the 1000 years of Hanoi city, taking place in 2010.
The blog http://ceramicaenrawson.blogspot.com/ has been created to answer questions about the call for tiles and for news and information. This blog will be constantly updated to show the activities of the Rawson City Hall Ceramics Studio.
The Bicentennial Mural will be located in one or many Public Buildings of our city. The Culture Secretary and the Urban Planning Secretary representatives from the City Hall and Provincial government will agree this on respectively.
We thank you all in advance who disseminate this information.
We hope to achieve, by the 25th May 2010, a work of art, which shows not only our country’s bicentennial but through the language of art and brotherhood, we can create a more peaceful world.
Bases:
*) Each participant will send one (1) ceramics tile following these measures:
Minimum: 20x20 cm (8x8 inches)
Maximum: 40x40 cm (16x16 niches)
Thickness: not more than 4 cm.
*) Please, do not include excessive or delicate reliefs in order to ovoid damages in the future. Leave the back textured to make placement much easier.
*) Free techniques, using only ceramics processes. It’s recommended to use materials and temperatures which are able to stand exterior conditions.
*) The topic could be allusive to the date we celebrate in Argentina: 25th May 1810, when our first Patriotic Government was established, one of the first calls for freedom, which pave the way for the Independence of Latin American countries. But we also want to accompany the Bicentennial festivities with expressions of freedom, peace, brotherhood and friendship of all countries, where everybody shows our desires of a better world, without political, racists, religious or gender distinctions, where language barriers do not separate us, because we are joined by the universal language of art.
*) On the front of the plate in bas-relief, or carved, if it is possible, write the author’s name and surname, city and country and the piece of art name.
*) The institutions, companies, associations, etc, which would like to be present in the mural “ Rawson in the Bicentennial”, can order their plate in the City Hall Ceramics Studio (workshop), in exchange for materials or services for the above mentioned studio.
*) Enrolment is free. Postage will be provided by the author. The organizers will not pay or recognize postage and handling or freight cost.
*) Add the participation form with the wages completed. If anyone wants, a CD with a digital picture of the plate and the artist own photo, can be sent to be registered in the blog.
